$25 donated to GLWA, after our week-long event in May 2009 for International Day Against Homophobia!
$35 to be donated to Brisbane Pride Inc. for selected sales made during Brisbane Pride, June 2009.
$63 to be donated to Homebirth Australia for the sale of Birth Rights Rally designs

AlternaTykes Clothing would like everyone to know that we are COMMITTED to supporting the community, be it our Rainbow Community, the breastfeeding community, the MCN community... so each month we will select a few designs that suit the occasion and donate $1 from every sale to a selected charity. We are hoping to find different 'events' or 'days' each month, and choose a charity related to that. For example,

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, so Breast Cancer Awareness sold in that time will have $1 donated to the the National Breast Cancer Foundation, to continue the work they do to promote nd support breast cancer research in all its forms. To date, the foundation has allocated over $55 million dollars to over 230 breast cancer research projects throughout Australia.

If you have a 'day' or 'event' that you are passionate about, let us know! I can create some designs and we can all raise some money for worthy causes, all the while making our kids look spunky!
